After six years with the organization, Matt Gundred was promoted from the position of Controller and assumed his new role as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for Pacific Whale Foundation and PacWhale Eco-Adventures on December 26, 2021. He holds a BA in accounting from the University of Puget Sound and an MBA in accounting from University of Phoenix.
As CFO, Matt is responsible for directing and overseeing the financial activities of Pacific Whale Foundation, PacWhale Eco-Adventures, Pacific Whale Foundation Australia and all future locations. His myriad duties include the preparation of financial reports and summaries, creating forecasts for predicting future growth and driving all audit functions.
