Leanne Nguyen

Leanne joined Pacific Whale Foundation in 2024. She has a BSc (Hons) degree from Monash University in Melbourne. Prior to joining PWF, Leanne has worked as a Marine Fauna Observer in south-eastern Australia and as a researcher on long-term monitoring programs of common dolphins and humpback whales in Victorian waters. As a research assistant in Australia, Leanne will help catalogue both humpback whale and dolphin images, she will also be responsible for entering and quality-controlling our field data. In the field, she will assist with our data collection, including taking photo-ID images, recording data and launching/retrieving the drone.
