Caitlin Carroll

Special Event & Campaign Specialist

Caitlin’s professional journey within the organization started as a Naturalist for PacWhale EcoAdventures, where she worked for several years, and had a lot of fun watching whales and meeting our incredible supporters. Subsequently, she transitioned to the non-profit division of the company, assuming roles such as Development Assistant and Engagement Specialist, before beginning her current position. Caitlin’s passion for the ocean originated during her upbringing in South Carolina. This early exposure fostered her deep appreciation for marine conservation. She pursued her academic endeavors at Queen’s University, where she graduated with Honors with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, complemented by a minor in Health Studies. Following her graduation, Caitlin relocated to Colorado, where she engaged in meaningful work for an outdoor education and sustainability non-profit. However, this experience also highlighted her profound connection to the ocean, prompting her to redirect her career towards ocean conservation. In her free time, you can find Caitlin swimming, snorkeling, surfing or exploring the island.
