Annual Appeal

Since 1980, Pacific Whale Foundation has been leading the charge in advocacy, research and education for the protection of whales, dolphins, turtles and other marine animals living wild in their natural habitat. Thanks to you, our scientific research in Maui, Australia, Ecuador, Chile and more, actively informs global policies that will change the future of our world’s oceans, while our commitment to youth education programs inspires the next generation of ocean advocates to be stewards of our environment and future leaders in our community. Together, we are a global voice of change that is shaping the future course of our oceans.

Pacific Whale Foundation is made up of a committed, global network of 128,000 members and donors – just like you – who are committed to positively impacting the health and survival of our oceans and marine animals. Together, we can create better outcomes for species that are still threatened.

This year, our research efforts will be applied towards distribution of mother and calf humpback whale pods in Hawai‘i, Australia and Ecuador; the endangered main Hawaiian Islands insular population of false killer whales, of which an estimated 150 remain; endangered blue whales in Chile; and monitoring and chemical analysis of coastal marine debris across the ocean. Coupled with international conservation and education initiatives that directly engage 400,000 individuals annually of all ages, our vision is to be the people’s environmental organization for the protection of the ocean. Together, we are providing essential programs that engage the public in conservation and advocacy.

Please join our board, staff and global community this season in assuring sound environmental practice and study, education for youth and adults, critical advocacy work on behalf of the ocean ecosystem and access to our programs for all by donating to the 2018 Pacific Whale Foundation Annual Appeal. Donations at every size help to create local impact and a global reach.

Pacific Whale Foundation is a non-profit tax-exempt IRSC 501(c)(3) organization: federal tax ID number 99-0207417. Your donation is U.S. tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. Thank you for your support.
