What is Ocean Camp: A Deeper Dive?

Ocean Camp: A Deeper Dive offers an advanced look at the ocean ecosystem for students entering grade 6-8. The program provides a dynamic learning experience that encourages participants’ growth as environmental stewards by building connections amongst each other, our community, and our shared planet. The learning and fun will extend beyond the classroom through daily nature-based field trips including private snorkel trips on PacWhale Eco-Adventures vessels. Each weekly session accommodates a maximum of 20 participants.

Program Information: EXTINTION LOOMS FOR HAWAIʻI WILDLIFE. It is your mission, if you choose to accept, to help us save the endangered species of Hawaiʻi by learning about these amazing animals and plants at this week of Ocean Camp: A Deeper Dive. Through exploration in nature to science lessons in the classroom, we will discuss threats facing the wildlife of Hawaiʻi and our roles as environmental stewards to care for the ʻāina around us. Drop-off and pick-up take place outside PWF’s discovery Center Classrooms located in Maui Harbor Shops at Maʻalaea Harbor.

Pricing

$550/week

Price includes instruction and activities, daily field trips with local partners, including private snorkel trips on PacWhale Eco-Adventures vessels.

Scholarship assistance is available for our 2025 Summer Ocean Camp through the generosity of our donors for students who qualify for financial assistance and/or keiki impacted by the wildfires. Contact [email protected] for scholarship information.
