Elizabeth Beato

Lizzy has worked at PacWhale and Pacific Whale Foundation in multiple capacities over the past seven years and is excited to now be a part of the new PWF outreach department. Lizzy is a Research Assistant on the Hawaii research team as well as the Waste Reduction Prong for the Outreach team, allowing her to not only study whales, dolphins, and marine pollution, but also work within the Maui community to mitigate environmental impacts to our community as we rebuild after the Maui wildfires. In her role as waste reduction prong, she works with the outreach team to investigate and address environmental issues in the community and provide solutions that allow our outreach team to operate as sustainably as possible.
