PacWhale Eco-Adventures are based on nearly four decades of marine research and ecotourism experience. Every trip is led by certified Marine Naturalists who provide a truly unique, educational and fun adventure at sea.
Watch wildlife in their natural habitat, snorkel Molokini, Lanaʻi and Honolua Bay, enjoy a relaxing sunset dinner, cocktail or stargazing cruise. We offer the most options on Maui and earn the highest ratings by travel sites and guidebooks. We also provide private charters and wedding cruises.
The best part is that all profits support Pacific Whale Foundation’s research, education and conservation programs to save whales, dolphins and our oceans.

This virtual whalewatch is from PacWhale Eco-Adventures’ last day on the water before the mandatory state shutdown on March 19th 2020. Pre COVID-19, we capped our ecotours at 47 passengers, then 10 passengers, and now 0, until further notice. With PacWhale Eco-Adventures put on hold, we are completely reliant on Pacific Whale Foundation donors for support. Each day, we are providing new opportunities for online engagement in an effort to keep us all connected.
We hope to see you soon on a PacWhale Eco-Adventure, just as soon as we get through this! Until then, we are hopeful, thankful and incredibly humbled by the support we are seeing by our PWF community. Our thoughts go out to all that are being impacted by COVID-19. With a team dedicated to our response to this pandemic, we are meeting regularly to ensure the continuation of programs and services that allow our mission work to continue.
Pacific Whale Foundation’s leadership team is closely monitoring updates from the Center for Disease Control and the World Health Organization regarding COVID-19. We will continue to seek guidance from these agencies, public health officials and government agencies on an ongoing basis.
