Pacific Whale Foundation's Ocean Camp Fall Session: "Mollusks on Maui" -- October 3 - 7, 2011

Pacific Whale Foundation's Ocean Camp will hold its Fall Session from Monday, October 3 through Friday, October 7 from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm for kids in grades K through 5. The focus of this week-long camp will be Maui's mollusks --  soft-bodied animals such as sea slugs, opihi, cowries, pipipi and octopus that are found in our oceans. The camp includes a surfing lesson, science labs, tidepool explorations, beach days, art projects, a visit to Maui Ocean Center and a snorkel trip to Molokini. The camp has a 1:10 teacher to camper ratio, and features a curriculum developed by certified educators.

You may sign up for individual or multiple days. Sign up before September 12 and the cost is $67 per day. Kama'aina pay just $56. Pacific Whale Foundation Members pay $50.

After September 12, the price is $72 per day ($61 for kama'aina and $55 for Pacific Whale Foundation Members.) Register late (24 hours or less prior to the camp date) and the price is $77 per day ($66 for kama'aina and $61 for Pacific Whale Foundation Members.)
