Pacific Whale Foundation Ocean Camp: Winter Session

Pacific Whale Foundation's Discovery Center, Ma'alaea Harbor Shops
Is a MWF event:

Two weeks of discovery, fun and enrichment for children in grades K - 5, including children who are visiting Maui and Maui residents. Campers can sign up for individual days or the entire session. From December 17 to 21, our camp theme will be "Whale Tales." We'll be exploring the world of cetaceans, including beluga whales, fin whales, bowhead whales, minke whales -- and of course, the humpback whales that come to Maui each winter. Our camp program will include a visit to Maui Ocean Center, a surfing lesson, a whalewatch cruise, a visit to Iao Valley, plus games, art, music and fun.  Ocean Camp continues from December 26 to 28, as our camp program explores "Deep Divers" with explorations and discoveries about giant squids, the nautilus and Hawaiian Monk Seals. These three days will include a tidepool exploration, beach fun, a visit to Maui Ocean Center, whalewatch cruise and art and science projects.

This popular day camp is located at Pacific Whale Foundation’s air-conditioned Discovery Center in Ma’alaea and is staffed by friendly, enthusiastic and energetic professionals with years of teaching and summer camp experience. Camp hours are from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. For more information about camp, rates and to enroll, please visit or call Pacific Whale Foundation at (808) 249-8811 ext. 1.
