Pacific Whale Foundation Ocean Camp

Pacific Whale Foundation's Discovery Center in Ma'alaea
Is a MWF event:
Pacific Whale Foundation Ocean Camp is busting out with an awesome roll out of adventure, investigation, art, fun and ocean advocacy for our 2013 Summer Session. We are excited to work with children from around the world who come to learn, laugh, and explore themes relating to the ocean and Maui's unique environment. We welcome campers entering grades K - 5.
Camp takes place Monday through Friday from May 28 through July 26. You can sign up by individual or multiple days.  Camp hours are from 8 am to 4 pm. The camp meets at Pacific Whale Foundation's Discovery Center, an air-conditioned facility located overlooking Ma'alaea Harbor. The camp program includes windsurfing and surfing lessons, snorkel cruises to Molokini, hands-on science, art projects, games and beach fun, plus learning about the ocean. Camp themes are organized by week and include“Toothy Smiles - Dolphins/Toothed Whales," “World Travelers - Whales and Wings," “The Spiny and Spineless,” “Rays - Kites of the Sea,” “Ocean Explorers Jump In,” “Turtle Tricks" and Sharks Rule."
