Additional criteria include the volume of reviews received within the last 12 months.
"Pacific Whale Foundation is pleased to receive a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence for the second year in a row,” said Greg Kaufman, Executive Director at Pacific Whale Foundation.  "Each and every day, our team works hard to introduce guests to Maui's unique ocean environment with professionalism and real enthusiasm; we strive to ensure that each guest has a fun and memorable experience. This award is evidence that our commitment is translating into positive reviews on TripAdvisor."
"Pacific Whale Foundation is unique in the tourism world because we are a nonprofit organization; our ecotours raise hundreds of thousands of dollars each year to support whale and dolphin research, marine education programs and conservation initiatives," says Kaufman. "Accolades like this help to distinguish us in the marketplace and ultimately help us meet our mission of protecting our oceans through science and advocacy."
“TripAdvisor is delighted to celebrate the success of businesses around the globe, from Sydney to Chicago, Sao Paulo to Rome, which are consistently offering TripAdvisor travelers a great customer experience,” said Alison Copus, Vice President of Marketing for TripAdvisor for Business. “The Certificate of Excellence award provides top performing establishments around the world the recognition they deserve, based on feedback from those who matter most – their customers.”
