Original Flipper Script signed Ric O’ Barry
Remember Flipper!? This beloved 60’s TV show inspired a love for dolphins and other marine life in millions of people across the country. Flipper’s trainer, Ric O’Barry, spent the last four decades since as an international dolphin activist working to protect dolphins and free all captive dolphins. Ric was featured in the Academy Award-winning documentary, The Cove, and Animal Planet’s Blood Dolphin series, and has received dozens of awards for his environmental heroism and dolphin protection work. Pacific Whale Foundation believes that whales, dolphins, and porpoises are highly intelligent marine mammals that should not be kept in captivity for the purposes of entertainment. This original Flipper television script, including notes, signed by Ric O’Barry is a chance to own a piece of television history while supporting our mission work.

Since that time, the population has recovered to over 21,000 strong! This shirt he sported during his battle against extinction has inspired the creation of the ‘Stop Whaling Now’ shirt for our 40th anniversary to address a threat that is still ongoing to this day.
