As part of the 27th Annual International Coastal Clean-up and Hawaii’s “Get the Drift and Bag It” event, Pacific Whale Foundation is leading a clean-up of Ma'alaea Harbor on Saturday, September 15 from 9 am to 11:30 am.

Some call it the dog days of summer, but at Pacific Whale Foundation, August brings "Wild Dolphin Days" held on the weekend of August 11 and 12. Pacific Whale Foundation's SeaWees program, featuring activities for preschoolers ages 3-5, is offered again on Wednesday mornings, after a summer hiatus, starting on August 22. Other events include Moonlight Tidepool Explorations, Stargazing Cruises and Island Rhythms Sunset Cruises (with local reggae recording artist Marty Dread) and opportunities to volunteer through Volunteering on Vacation.

Wild Dolphin Days, an annual event celebrating the wild dolphins of Maui County, will be held on Saturday August 11 and Sunday, August 12. The weekend will include a free Wild Dolphin Sand Sculpture Contest that's open to the public, plus a free talk about dolphin research and a Wild Dolphin Photo Safari cruise with Pacific Whale Foundation's researchers and wildlife photographer David Fleetham. The weekend is hosted by the nonprofit Pacific Whale Foundation.

Pacific Whale Foundation, a non-government organisation that has been studying humpback whales off East Australia since 1984 and in Hervey Bay since 1987, will be offering whalewatch cruises for the public in Hervey Bay, Queensland, starting on July 28, 2012.

July's event line-up begins with festive 4th of July Fireworks Cruises, then continues with many great events for families and people of all ages, including moonlight tidepool explorations, stargazing cruises and more.
