Save the Date!  The 2010 Run for the Whales is scheduled for February 6, 2010.

The race results are in for the 2009 Run for the Whales! 

Pacific Whale Foundation would like to extend a congratulations to our top finishers and all participants in this year's Run for the Whales!  With over 730 registrants, a new comp pod event and many smiling faces we are looking forward to expanding this event in the years to come.

Winning best overall in the 5K Men's Race was Reid Hunter (age 18) finishing with a time of 17:40. Hailey Grossman (age 16) took best overall in the Women's 5K race with a finish time of 21:08.

The Run for the Whales is one of the events of The Maui Whale Festival, a month-long celebration of humpback whales that takes place during February.. Other events in The  Maui Whale Festival include Maui's Parade of Whales (Saturday, February 21, Whale Day Celebration (Saturday, February 21) and The Great Whale Count (Saturday, February 28).
