Starting December 15, Pacific Whale Foundation's trained naturalists will be stationed at key points along Maui’s coast to help you locate and learn about whales from shore. 

‘Tis the season for festive holiday cruises with the experts at Pacific Whale Foundation, including New Year’s Eve Cocktail Cruises from Lahaina and Ma‘alaea Harbors on December 31. Our Ocean Camp is a great way to keep the kids engaged and entertained during winter break, with sessions on December 29-31 and January 5-9. And our popular Trail of the Whale information stations will be offered along Maui’s coasts starting December 15.

It’s the season of thanksgiving and we invite you to celebrate with Pacific Whale Foundation on our Thanksgiving Cruises from Lahaina Harbor, Thursday November 27. Also, our Making Waves Lecture Series on November 13 will feature PWF Founder and Executive Director, Greg Kaufman, leading a discussion on how to “Be Whale Aware”. And on Veterans' Day, November 11, our Education team will be offering a special Ocean Camp for kids in grades 6-8. “Migration towards Prosperity” was been presented to the 65th annual meeting of the International Whaling Commission and received an enthusiastic response. The video sends a strong message from Ecuador and the Buenos Aires Group that whales are a more beneficial as a living resource rather than being hunted.
