World Whale Day Festival & Parade of Whales

Come celebrate at Pacific Whale Foundation's 35th annual World Whale Day and enjoy a free, all-day festival honoring the humpback whales that come to Maui each winter. The festivities begin at 9am with a colorful Parade of Whales down South Kihei Road, and continue until sunset at beautiful, oceanside Kalama Park.

The celebration offers live musical entertainment featuring top Hawai’i recording stars. There will also be hula performances; whale-themed attractions; a Keiki Carnival with hands-on educational activities and fun bouncy rides; an array of food booths by local restaurants and food trucks; and the original "Made on Maui" artisan's fair with unique crafts and gifts. The festival will also feature environmental displays on marine mammals, ocean conservation, and Maui’s unique eco-system.

Admission is free and free shuttles to area parking lots will be available. To learn more, call Pacific Whale Foundation at (808) 249-8811 ext. 1 or visit www.mauiwhalefestival.org.
