A weekly program, SeaWees is  for preschoolers and their parents/caregivers. This program features field trips, activities, songs, and stories with Pacific Whale Foundation's marine Educator Merrill Kaufman. It's for ages 3-5 (children must be accompanied by parent/caregiver). It takes place on Wednesday mornings, from 9:00 to 10:00 am at  Pacific Whale Foundation's Discovery Center. The cost for the five-week session is $50 ($40 for Pacific Whale Foundation members). Advance enrollment is required. Please call (808) 249-8811 ext. 1 for more information or to enroll.

Our theme for April 6, 13, 20, 27 and May 4 is "Scales to Tails- The Amazing Fish of Hawai’i." Things may get “fishy” as we take a beak to fin look at the fish found in Hawaiian waters from the sandy bottom to the open ocean. We’ll examine a fish close up using artifacts, Hawaiian cultural traditions and even some Gyotaku to record our “catch”. Includes guided shore snorkel at Ulua Beach in Wailea on April 30 (snorkel gear, flotation and boogie boards for towing provided).
