PWF Offers Halloween Cruises to Lahaina Festivities from Ma'alaea Harbor
Heading to the Lahaina Halloween festivities? Make your evening especially "spook-takular" by traveling in style and comfort to the fun on Front Street; hop on a sunset cruise with Pacific Whale Foundation from Ma'alaea Harbor.
“When you join us on our Halloween Cocktail Cruise to Lahaina, you'll find that more than half the fun is the party on our boats," says John Gaskins, Sales and Customer Care General Manager of Pacific Whale Foundation Eco-Adventures. "Feast on a buffet of wickedly good hot and cold appetizers, enjoy Maui Brewing Co. beer, wine, Mai Tais and other tropical cocktails, and take in some amazing views of the sunset, neighbor islands and West Maui mountains."
"Best of all, you skip any worries about ghoulish traffic on the Pali or nightmarish parking hassles," he says. "Our alternative is so much more relaxing; you park your car in the big free lot that we have here at Ma’alaea Harbor and our professional crew transports you to Lahaina, where you land just footsteps from all of the frivolity at Banyan Tree Park and Front Street."
Guests disembark for two hours to take part in the Lahaina merriment, then join Pacific Whale Foundation on the vessel for a cruise back to Ma'alaea under a starlit sky, with desserts and coffee served.
The Halloween Cocktail Cruise departs at 6:00 and 6:30 pm from Ma’alaea Harbor.
The buffet includes BBQ Pork Sliders, Buffalo Chicken Sliders, Macaroni Salad and Roasted Green Beans with Maui Onions. Refreshments are included and include soda, juices, Maui Brewing Company beer, wine, Mai Tais and tropical mixed drinks. Adult guests with valid i.d. to show proof of age can enjoy up to three cocktails.
During the return trip to Ma’alaea Harbor, the staff will serve fresh-baked dessert treats (Coconut Brownies and Caramel Apple Bread) and hot locally grown coffee. The overall time for this trip, including the Lahaina stopover, is about 4.5 hours.
The Halloween Cocktail Cruises take place on Pacific Whale Foundation’s double deck power catamarans Ocean Quest and Ocean Odyssey. Both feature indoor and outdoor seating, a galley bar and onboard his/hers bathrooms.
Ticket prices for the Halloween Cocktail Cruise are roundtrip. The price is $79.95 for adults and $59.95 for children ages 12 and under. Guests who book online will save 10%.
