More Than 32 Bags of Trash Collected at Ma'alaea Harbor Clean-up

Thirty volunteers joined Pacific Whale Foundation at Ma'alaea Harbor on Saturday to clean up litter and debris, as part of the International Coastal Clean-up on Saturday, September 15, 2012. The volunteers also tallied the trash they collected. What was the most commonly found item? Cigarette butts, followed by discarded monofilament fishing line. Both are hazardous to wildlife.
