Making Waves Lecture Series

Pacific Whale Foundation's Making Waves Lecture Series provides a public forum to discuss and explore current issues in marine conservation and research. On Thursday July 24, join us for an informative presentation by Sonia Gorgula from Hawaii’s Department of Land and Natural Resources who will report on a protocol for responding to Japan’s tsunami marine debris, based on data collected from Hawaii. She will also lead a discussion on aquatic invasive species risks and surveys planned by the DLNR for the summer.

Admission is free and reservations are not required. The presentation will take place at Pacific Whale Foundation's Discovery Center, located on the lower level of the Ma'alaea Harbor Shops, adjacent to Maui Ocean Center.
